Autism Life Coaching

Evidence-based behavioral strategies to improve your social and life skills

Interested in dating but not sure what to do? Want to feel more confident in social situations? Ready to find a job and be more independent? As your Autism Life Coach, we’ll work together to empower you to successfully navigate your relationships, social situations, and school or work with confidence and independence.

Different from traditional counseling, I use strategies based on the principles of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) to increase positive behaviors so you can achieve your personal goals. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with 25 years of experience in the field of autism, I have learned that individualizing a client’s goals to their unique needs allows for positive and functional outcomes and life-changing progress.

What to Expect:

During our initial phone consultation, we will discuss your specific needs and challenges as well as the services I offer. If we feel like it’s a good fit, then the next step is for you to fill out a brief questionnaire so I can gain a deeper understanding of your needs. This step is at no cost to you. After this, we’re ready to begin!

I typically work with adolescents and adults who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) including Aspergers or High Functioning Autism. Together, we will develop appropriate and achievable goals to help you be more confident and successful in targeted areas or situations. I provide individualized visual supports and other resources, as needed.

Services can be done through telehealth but some sessions are better to be held in the community in order to practice skills in the actual setting.

  • Rates are $150/hour for virtual sessions and $160/hour for in-person sessions (within the Tri-Valley area).

  • Insurance payments are not accepted at this time but a super bill can be provided for insurance reimbursement.

  • Participants of Self Determination Program are also accepted.
